A Day with the Frinsa Family

After wrapping up our events in Jakarta, we made our way to Pangalengan, West Java, to visit Java Frinsa Estate. It was an impromptu trip and we are very grateful for the family to accept our last minute visit! Java Frinsa Estate is a farm we’ve proudly worked with since Everhāos first opened nearly two years ago

Welcomed by Rifda and her mother, we were given a tour of their dry mill and had the opportunity to see firsthand the passion & care that goes into every stage of processing before the coffee reaches our roastery

The visit ended with a cupping of 11 coffees ranging from their signature classics, experimental lots, and newest releases. Some of our favorites from the table were:

• Natural Jadoel
• Fully Washed DELVA
• Honey Rhizopus

And of course, it was a pleasure to revisit their Anaerobic Natural which is still available on our website and Tokopedia

Just as we finished cupping, Pak Wildan joined us, and what followed was one of the highlights of the day: an insightful conversation on yeast inoculation, fermentation, and the contradictory co-fermented coffees

We’re thankful for the hospitality of the Frinsa family and their team. Beyond the exceptional coffees, what left the biggest impression was seeing the next generation already taking the reins. Watching Rifda, Fikri, and Yasmin carry forward their family’s passion
