Grown in the lush highlands of Aceh, Sumatra Gayo is produced by smallholder farmers cultivating coffee on fertile volcanic soils at high elevations. The region’s cool mountain climate, abundant rainfall, and generations of traditional farming create coffees known for their depth, richness, and distinctive character.
This lot expresses the classic profile of Gayo with a refined fruit sweetness and a dense, syrupy body. In the cup, vibrant notes of ripe blueberries and plum unfold over a foundation of dark chocolate, creating a balanced espresso with both brightness and depth.
Comforting yet expressive, it works beautifully as a straight espresso while maintaining clarity and sweetness in milk-based drinks.
