Ribang Gayo Musara coffee is produced by a cooperative of smallholder farmers in the Gayo Highlands of Aceh, Indonesia. Grown at elevations of approximately 1,400–1,700 meters above sea level, the coffee benefits from fertile volcanic soil and a cool mountain climate. The lots typically feature a mix of Arabica varietals, including Ateng, Bourbon, and P88. Through careful cultivation and natural processing methods, the cooperative highlights the region’s characteristic sweetness and complexity while maintaining consistent quality standards.
